Architecture studios are usually named after one person. & Tw was built to celebrate everyone else.
Most architecture studios carry a single name on the door. A founding partner, a signature style, a personal legacy. That's the industry standard.
E. Tawil spent years working within that model. And when the time came to build his own studio, he decided to challenge it.
Because every architectural project is a collective effort. Architects, builders, construction managers, administrators, investors, associates. The people whose contributions make everything possible but whose names never make it onto the plaque. Tawil believed that deserved to change.
That belief became the brief.
The brand needed to be built around a core idea: team authorship. Not just as a value, but as a visible, structural part of the identity. Starting with the name.
& Tw came from Tawil's own surname, anchored by one small, deliberate character: the ampersand. Not Tawil. And Tawil. And the team. And everyone who makes the work possible. A single symbol that shifts the entire philosophy from individual to collective.
The visual system follows that same clarity. Minimalist forms, strong compositions and a vibrant digital blue that feels contemporary, practical and built to work anywhere. A brand as functional as the buildings it represents.
An architecture studio that put the team first. Right there in the name, from day one.
