Productivity tools have a branding problem. They tend to look exactly like what they are: functional, neutral and forgettable. Efficient on the inside, invisible on the outside.
Notioneers had built something genuinely valuable, a team of Notion specialists who design custom systems that actually change how businesses work. But their brand told a different story. It leaned too heavily on Notion's native aesthetic: clean to the point of cold, minimal to the point of empty.
They weren't being seen as strategic partners. They were being seen as a plugin.
They came to us for a full rebrand, with a specific challenge: redesign the brand to meet the high professional expectations of the DACH market (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) while standing completely apart from the Notion ecosystem's visual default.
The goal was to make structure feel human.
We built a brand system that reflects exactly how Notioneers works: organized, clear, purposeful but alive. At the heart of it are The Notioneers, a set of custom characters representing the people behind every team. Calm, focused and empowered by smart systems.
Soft greens, expressive illustrations, digital textures and a voice that speaks to humans, not just users. Precise enough for Switzerland, warm enough for everyone.
